Bait and Switch : The

Bait and Switch by Barbara Ehrenreich is worth a read because she makes many accurate points and, unlike many a naysayer in today’s society, even suggests a solution. Most of all I love her feisty courage; she experiments with social psychology, in a way that gains the most from her interactions. Many people have had the experience that Ehrenreich writes about, but she is able to deliver the goods because although she lives it, she can step out of it any time, like playing a board game. So, does she deliver the goods? Yes and no. Bait and Switch did not give us all that could be gotten out of this subject, though no other book has come even this close.
